Oppo has announced its new flagship, the Find X9 Ultra, at an event in China this week and it’s set to be one of the best phones of 2026, particularly in the camera department.
In an exciting turn of events, it’s getting a UK launch, but with a price of £1,449, it may well be out of reach for many buyers. However, we know how you can get one for free – if you are fast.
Oppo is currently on the lookout for Product Ambassadors to get involved with its community. If you’re chosen, you’ll get early access to the Find X9 Ultra ahead of its 8 May release and will be able to keep it.

“We are calling all pacesetters who love tech storytelling to enjoy an early hands-on experience with the OPPO Find X9 Ultra,” says Oppo.
Not only will you get the phone, the call for ambassadors also says you’ll be featured on Oppo’s global channels to help grow your profile, expand your network and even be “rewarded with a trip and exclusive event invitations”.
How to get it
It’s too late for you to get to the Find X9 Ultra launch in China on 21 April, where the firm will also announce the Find X9s, but this all sounds pretty cool and applying is as simple as filling in a form.

As well as your basic information, including your profession, Oppo will need to know how you view yourself – such as a travel vlogger – as well as how many followers you have on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. Plus, you’ll also need to submit some work as part of the application.
It does sound as though Oppo is aiming to recruit those who already have a decent number of followers, but if you don’t have hundreds of thousands, you should still apply, as there’s likely be more to it than simply figures.
