- New eSIM auto-switches when travelling
- Requires iPhone with iOS 26
- iPhone XR or later
Global64 is the first eSIM to take advantage of a useful new iOS 26 feature that makes traveling with your smartphone much easier.
With eSIM.net’s new Global64 product, your iPhone will be able to automatically detect when you travel abroad, and switch over to a preloaded travel eSIM while you’re there, complete with its own data bundle.
When you return to your home country, your iPhone will again notice the regional change, and will switch back to your usual mobile account.

You don’t need to fiddle around with physical SIM cards, or even to remember to set up a roaming plan. It just works, as soon as you cross the border.
Global64 is the first product to take advantage of this feature anywhere in the world. Its name refers to the 64 countries that it supports without incurring any roaming fees, including the USA, UK, EU, Australia, Canada, Japan, and more.
“Global64 marks a major milestone for mobile connectivity,” said Gerry O’Prey, CEO of eSIM.net. “For the first time, travellers can land in another country and their phone simply works — no SIM swaps, no settings, no stress. This is how travel connectivity was always meant to be.”
Global64 eSIM availability
You can buy your Global64 eSIM direct from the eSIM.net website. It works with any iPhone that supports the eSIM facility.
While the iPhone Air recently launched as an eSIM-only product, Apple has supported eSIM use dating back to the iPhone XR in 2018. Any iPhone from this point onwards will work with this new Global64 product.
You’ll need to have iOS 26 installed to capitalise on the full auto-switching facility. This means, obviously, that Android users won’t be able to make use of such a seamless travel eSIM product. At least, not yet.
