Specifications for the Nothing Phone (4a) have leaked, and they suggest that the non-Pro model could be the one to go for this time around.
Android Headlines claims to have learned that the regular Nothing Phone (4a) will feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor with up to 12GB of RAM, a 5,400mAh battery, and 50W wired charging, all housed in an IP65-rated design. The Snapdragon processor has since been confirmed in a tweet from Nothing.
It’ll also pack a triple camera system with a 50Mp main sensor, and 8Mp ultra-wide, and perhaps most notably a 50MP telephoto with a 3.5× zoom. That would represent a decent boost over the Nothing Phone (3a) and its 2x zoom camera.
This all sounds like a solid, mid-range specification model from where we’re sitting, if accurate.

To Pro or not to Pro?
But what really interests us is a small update added to the original post. According to the report, the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro will share the same battery, processor, and telephoto camera as its non-Pro sibling.
It seems the key differences will relate to the implementation of Nothing’s signature Glyph lighting system, as well as the colour options.
Naturally, the Pro model will be more expensive too. We’re just wondering if paying extra will be worth it, assuming the two phones are as similar as they seem likely to be.
We’ll need to hang on and see precisely how these two mid-range options stack up, of course. We shouldn’t have too long to wait on that front, with a 4 March launch event confirmed and mid-March availability predicted.
Earlier this week, Nothing confirmed the aforementioned launch event, and has been teasing four colour options for its new phone: Black, Blue, Pink, and White.
This is expected to be Nothing’s big phone launch of the year, with the London-based brand having confirmed that it won’t be launching a new flagship in 2026, seemingly because of the dramatic rise in component costs.
