Specifications for the Samsung Galaxy A57 have emerged online, and it could prove to be a skinnier alternative to the Google Pixel 10a.
Android Headlines has posted specifications for Samsung’s forthcoming follow-ups to the Samsung Galaxy A56 (pictured here) and the Samsung Galaxy A36.
The Samsung Galaxy A57 will apparently run on Samsung’s Exynos 1680 processor – something we’ve heard before – with 8GB of RAM and either 128- or 256GB of internal storage.
There’ll be a 6.7-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display around front with a 2340 x 1080 (FHD+) resolution. Expect a 5000mAh battery and 45W wired charging.
On the photographic front, there’ll be a 50Mp main camera, a 12Mp ultra-wide, and a 5Mp macro camera, with a 12Mp selfie camera around front. So far, so Galaxy A56.
It’ll measure 161.5 x 76.9 x 6.9mm and weigh 192g, which represents a significant slimming down from the phone’s predecessor. That’s also much slimmer than the 9mm-thick Google Pixel 10a, which it will likely be competing with on price.
Colour options will seemingly include Awesome Gray, Awesome Icyblue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy.

Samsung Galaxy A37 specs
As for the cheaper Samsung Galaxy A37, the report claims that it’ll use the same 6.7-inch 120Hz FHD+ Super AMOLED display as the A57.
It’ll run on the same Exynos 1480 chip that we previously saw in the Samsung Galaxy A55. There’ll be variants with 6 and 8GB of RAM, accompanying a choice of 128 and 256GB of storage.
The Galaxy A37 will also share a 5000mAh battery and 45W wired charging with its more premium brother. The camera set-up sounds similar too, minus the dedicated macro: a 50Mp main camera, 12Mp ultra-wide, and a 12Mp selfie cam.

It doesn’t sound as if the Galaxy A37 will share its brother’s slimmer design, with dimensions of 162.9 x 78.2 x 7.4mm and a weight of 196g.
Colours will include Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Graygreen, Awesome Lavender, and Awesome White.
All in all, aside from the expected performance bump and a slightly slimmer Galaxy A57 design, we’re not expecting a huge advance from this next generation of Samsung mid-range smartphones.
We’ll see for sure soon enough, with a launch expected later this month.
