Pricing for the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone has reportedly been locked in, and it’s not going to be cheap.
We had previously heard it rumoured that Samsung’s super-skinny flagship, the Galaxy S25 Edge, would be priced between the S25+ and Ultra.
In other words, we were expecting it to come in somewhere between £999 / $999.99 and £1,249 / $1,299.99.
Now South Korean outlet FNNews is reporting that Samsung has set the domestic price of the Galaxy S25 Edge at 1.5 million won for the 256GB model. The step-up 512GB model will cost 1.63 million won.
Galaxy S25 Edge UK and US pricing
As predicted, this would make the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge the second most expensive phone in the S25 range. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is the most expensive with a starting price of 1,698,400 won, while the Samsung Galaxy S25+ will be knocked into third place on 1,353,000 won.
As you can see, this would mean that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will be placed more or less exactly in the middle of the two. We can use this to take an educated guess as to its UK and US pricing.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra starts from £1,249 / $1,299, while the Samsung Galaxy S25+ costs £999 / $999.99.
With those figures in mind, we’d expect the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge pricing to start from around the £1,099 / $1,099 mark, give or take £50 / $50.

Money may not be the issue with the Galaxy S25 Edge
With that said, stumping up the cash may be the least of your worries come the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge’s likely April launch. We’ve heard before that it’s going to be a strictly limited edition, and this latest report confirms that assertion.
We may only be looking at an initial run of just 40,000 units at launch. What’s more, the Edge will only be going on sale in “major countries such as Korea and the United States.”
Hopefully the UK counts among such ‘major countries’ – Brits traditionally buy a lot of Samsung phones – but we’ll have to wait and see.
