What the Oura Ring 4 has to offer
For those not in the know, the best smart rings provide a far more sleek and fashion-first approach to the world of fitness tracking compared to traditional wrist-based wearables. These minuscule devices look like pieces of jewellery to the untrained eye, and until it was recently supplanted by the newer (albeit very similar) Oura Ring 5, the Ring 4 was the cream of the crop.

The Ring 4 Ceramic Edition is more expensive, but you might prefer its style, which is also more durable and less prone to scratched. We called it ‘almost perfect’ in our testing.
Why it’s a good deal
As we mentioned before, the Oura Ring 4 isn’t regularly on sale, and you can see as much via price history trackers like CamelCamelCamel and Keepa. These lowest ever prices on certain models and colours are not to be missed unless you must have the Ring 5’s smaller design.
Although it’s not a non-negotiable subscription like with the Whoop Strap, the Oura Ring 4 does steer its users towards having an active Oura membership which costs £5.99/$5.99 a month. While it is an extra cost to contend with, we do recommend keeping a membership going as it’ll help you to make the most of the Oura Ring 4 in the long-run, giving you the best chance of making healthier choices based on the data collected.
